Since I graduated from college over a year ago, I have nothing to do (once the cleaning is done) while Felipe (Phillip) is doing homework. That sentence really makes me sound like a housewife, haha! That would be true if I didn't have a full-time job....I just don't have any homework to do when I get home!
I guess I'll just talk about myself & the significant events in my life for a bit. I got married almost 9 months ago to a cute fellow named Phillip Stevenson, who I like to call "Felipe" or "Felip". We live in the most HORRIBLE city (at least in the winter) Rexburg, Idaho. This is where we met almost a year and a half ago, on October 13th, 2012 - and I will get into further detail on how we met another day :).
Oh just to fit the blog mold, here's some wedding pictures:
We got sealed in the San Diego temple on June 7th, 2013, had our reception in Los Angeles, and a week later left to live in Alpine, Wyoming for two months in a CAMPER so that Felip could work for my grandpa. Good times. After a while there, we then moved to Rexburg so that I could work full-time as Felip completed his 3rd & 4th semesters in Mechanical Engineering at BYU-Idaho.
Then come early November, I found out I was pregnant and pretty much IMMEDIATELY started getting horrendous nausea every day for about 10 weeks. As of today, I am now 19 weeks along and finally the nausea has left for the most part. Now my biggest problem is heart burn and finding clothes to fit! Haha.
It has been a rather interesting year, to say the least!!!!! Although it seems like there's a lot of complaining, there have also been a lot of good times!!! We're just sick & tired of this awful winter and ready for the summer :)
Which brings me to explain the title of my blog.
"Rainfall, Snowstorms, & Sunshine" represent the places where we're from - "Rainfall" for Phillip who is from Seattle, "Sunshine" for me who is from Los Angeles, and "Snowfall" to represent where we started and where we currently reside, Rexburg, Idaho.
Of course, the title also represents how life has been, is currently, and will be for us. "Snowfall" for the difficult times, "Rainfall" for when we're just going through the motions and working to get through each day, and "Sunshine" for the wonderful moments that we share (which has been most abundant, luckily!).
I will probably end there, because I don't think a first blog post should ever be too deep! But now ya'll know what's up. Or maybe just me, since I'm not sure if I'll make this public yet. Okay time to go find a new blog layout because this one is ugly! Haha. Peace.
